I am 36 week preganant mom...I did a scan today and found my baby is in transverse lie position and it was cephalic in last scan that i done 3 weeks ago.. is it normal

A. Transverse lie is also described as lying sideways or even shoulder presentation. It means that a baby is positioned horizontally in the uterus.A transverse baby may turn (or be turned) into a head-down position before birth, but if not, a c-section will likely be necessary to ensure the safe birth of your child.
