normal around > 92 mg /dl
1 hour glucose level - > 180
2 hour - > 153 mg /dl
high sugar level above 130 to 140 mg/dl inidcates gestational diabetes
avoid sugary foods, refined and processed foods,
have small meals, control on portion size of carbohydarte rich foods such as white rice. wheat etc
have millets , brown rice, or par boiled rice. oats
dals, whole legumes such as rajma, chana , lobia etc
fruits have citrus , apple, melons , gauva, pomogrante etc
limit on high sugar raising fruits such as banana , chikku, custard apple etc
have ample amount of green leafy vegetables, ladies finger, beans , cabbage etc
limit in roots and tubers such as potatoes , carrots , sweet potatoes , yam etc
