Q.

I am 28 weeks and my doppler shows all good with 1.2kg baby, but AFI is 20, is it very high ? My sugar is excellently controlled as i have gestational diabetes, what could be the reason then for increased AFI??? what should I do to prevent increasing it, shall I reduce water intake ? ONLY DOCTORS RESPOND. NON DOCTORS STOP RESPONDING AS IT DOESNT GIVE CHANCE TO A DOCTOR TO RESPOND AND THIS IS A MEDICAL QUERY.

A. definitely the level is more which needs proper evaluation reasons and management. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
