humne apne baby ko doctor ko dikhaya doctor ne kaha gut infection ...mere baby ko Sunday se 99 fever se start hokar aaj 102 tk pahuch gya h.paracetamol dene pr 7 hours k baad fever aa rha h,potty usko din m ek baar hoti h semi solid plus water type.ye fever kb tk utarega aur infection kb jayega????

A. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever . Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks . Initially antipyretic like paracetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repefgated after 4-6 hrs if needed . Lukewarm sponge bath can be given as home remedy to decrease fever. Adequate fluid intake is also beneficial. Urine ouftput monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

A. You will see as the infection will start to subside the fever will also start reducing down the fever is basically there because the infection is still persisting strongly into the body as the infection will get down the fever will also start reducing since the fever has started to repeat in six hours that means the fever is reducing otherwise in normal cause of fever comes back within 3 to 4 hours in general
