how will I know whether my baby is a boy or a girl? my hubby wants to do shopping but did not know what to expect.

It is illegal to know the gender of the baby in India. Once u deliver the baby, then only you come to know whether its a girl or a boy..
U can buy new born baby clothes of any colour
