Q.
How true it is, that a child carries same infection during breast feeding from his or her mother. That is if mother is having any stomach issues, or cold child will carry same infection through BM.

Isha SinghMom of a 8 yr 3 m old girl7 years agoA. Hello Baby will never get infected via mother's feed. She only get infected if mother or smone else at home is having any viral infection. Other family member should avoid going near to baby n mother can't avoid so she can go for the use of mask if infected. Through BM your baby will get only nutrients made out of your food intake. Just focus on having high protein n calcium rich food.

PratyushaMom of a 10 yr old girl7 years agoA. no it's false even when mother is having fever it's best to nurture them so that their antibodies can fight with the virus so feed Ur baby regularly even Ur sick but consult Ur gynecologist for the medicines to use as feeding mother should have only certain kind of medicines
