VaishnaviMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy8 years agoA. just place the nipple hole part on your nipple and hold it while lo feeds.. avoid using nipple shield when not needed and its use must be temporary as it decreases the production of milk..

Bhurabi BharaliMom of a 12 yr old boy8 years agoA. you can use nipple shield to breastfeed .. you just have to put the shield on the breast and put the nipple shield in the baby's mouth. . it is useful for feeding in the cases like flat or inverted nipple, baby having bottle habit, sore or crack nipple, etc.... so if you're suffering from such problem then you can continue using it. . There is no harm in using it... just take care to wash and sterlized it properly aftert every feed
