A. Dear Mamma, please meet a lactation consultant immediately. She will most likely put you on domperidone and ask you to pump on schedule and power pump once a day. Please give plenty of skin to skin and unrestricted access to the breast and latch baby on frequently. You will also have to feed formula at the breast using a home made lactation aid.

A. hii..yes it is possible to relactate..If a baby is willing to nurse, frequent feeding is the most effective thing to do. At least 10-12 feedings should be aimed every 24 hours. Ensure that you get the baby to feed on both breasts and long enough to drain them well. Dates, nuts, zeera, dill seeds, Ajwain, papaya, a spoonful of desi ghee, a bowl full of nuts daily are natural food that should be included in your diet to increase breast milk. Eat a spoon full of methi daily with water. you can take Cureperium powder or Shatavari powder twice a day with a glass full of milk .
