ExpertAlapati HariPaediatrician7 years agoA. Hi, it’s better to avoid using Vick’s rub. It’s not necessary for your baby. Just give steam for cold preferably indirect steam. Use saline nose drops or hot towel over the chest. Continue to breast feed your baby

SantoMom of a 8 yr 9 m old girl7 years agoA. Saline drops are quite effective. Indirect steaming will also give instant relief. Keep baby hydrated. Feed frequently every fee hours. Keep your baby's head high. Try to apply warm mustard oil to babys chest and soles. Add tulsi leaves to warm coconut oil and apply to baby's chest and soles. Cover baby's legs with socks after applying. Keep baby warm. Use fan or ac at minimal speed. Dress baby according to the weather.
