Dt Ritu PuriGuardian of a 8 yr 8 m old girl7 years agoA. Hi, to make ragi java First soak ragi in water for 10 hours, if its hot weather at ur place then u cn also keep mixture in refrigerator. You need to keep changing water to maintain hygiene After this, drain of water. Grind the ragi well. Take a muslin clothe, put it above open container, pour grinded ragi on top. Squeeze out water from it. The collected water in container is the ragi milk. Warm that, to maintain consistency u cn add water to it. Once boil. Then cool it and give it to baby

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr old boy7 years agoA. better to give in morning time preferably for the first few days. would suggest you buy ragi....wash it nicely and dry it thoroughly. After that get it powdered. Seive it nicely and store in a container...preferably in a glass or steel container...not plastic. Take about 1 teaspoon ragi powder and add quarter cup water (boiled and cooled water). Mix it well and then cook this mixture for a few minutes continuously stirring until it comes to a boil. Adjust the consistency as per your requirement.add a little of jaggery or a pinch of salt....or if you think your baby will eat without these also then you can try without adding sugar or salt first.
