how to make my baby to sleep on own if he wakesup in between, let's say he is not hungry? my baby wakesup 5 or 8 times every night and he doesn't go back to sleep until i give my breastmilk or pat him for atleast 5min. I stopped giving breast milk for few days because many people advised to stop feed at night because baby wakesup just to get comfort with breast. but this trick didn't work as well. i know he is not hungry but he wants someone to comfort. i am a working mom and even i need 7-8hrs of sleep in order to work on next day. please help, im sleep deprived. i have checked few western methods like cry it out or ferber but they are not suitable for our typical indian family. no one encourages in our home. please help with other way(no cry)
