Home made papad etc.patience is very important too.To increase weight you must add high energy foods like eggs paneer , soya , ghee in rice , khichdi etc.this will boost him ok.

U cannot Make your child fat that way you even if given non-veg food to the child your child is not going to become fat it is not a sure shot think that if you’ll give good amount of food to the child weather is veg or nonveg a child is going to become fat so in general note if your child is healthy and is having a decent weight according to the age then don’t worry about it
