Hello mom when babies are introduced to weaning foods they should be initally be given liquids consistency foods say dal or rice water or fresh fruit juices or vegetable soups etc , and gradaully as they accept that well enough you may move to semi solids and mashed foods such as porridge made with ragi, suji, multigrain mix, curds, kichidi, ghee , steamed vegetables, fruit pulp etc .
start with one thing at a time say a few tsp , also give the same food for 3 consequitive days , as to know how the baby is accepting it, and then gardaully increase the quantity and variety & number of meals,
