Feeding Tips: Mothers who choose to breastfeed are advised to make wise lifestyle choices seeing that whatever you eat or drink will pass on to your baby through the milk. Make sure that your kids are fed every 2-3 hours. Formula-fed kids are advised to be fed every 3-4 hours.
Mothers who choose to breastfeed should be prepared for on-demand feeding approach, especially during the first couple of months. Though it’s no hard and fast rule, it is seen that babies who are breastfed need at least 8 to 10 helpings every day to sate their appetite. Also, remember to feed your precious every couple of hours in order to keep them from deprivation of nutrition. Don’t push the feeding to more than three hours in a day.
