Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. Measles is a type of viral infection caused due to measles virus. As it is a viral infection so it is self limiting and only relief and symptomatic treatment is required. Give warm water to drink. Give regular diet and give bath. Atleast the child should consume 70 percent of regular diet. Follow the treatment given by your dr for relief medicines. Keep the child away till the rash goes away from other children.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. There's no cure for measles. The virus must run its course, which usually takes about 10 to 14 days. You can do some things that might make you feel better, such as: Taking acetaminophen or ibuprofen for aches, pains or fever.
