how much dosage of Ascoril flu drops should be given for 2 year 1 month baby?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Give the dose according to the weight of the baby. For toddlers, during cold, give two drops of ginger juice twice a day with one teaspoon honey. Give warm turmeric milk with tulsi leaves boiled in it., give warm soups and add two garlic pods c puss in it, Rasam soup, sunlight exposure for 30 mins a day, give indirect steam, apply vicks baby rub on chest, back and sole of the feet. Keep feet covered. Give light and easily digestible foods.

Upper respiratory tract infection is very common till 3 yrs of age Most of the time cough cold, fever are viral in origin, it may subside by 3 -9 days. No need of any medication if mild. If fever above 100F then need fever medication (paracetmol) as per weight. If cold then need steam inhalation, nasal decongestant drops (nasivion baby nasal drops/Otrivin-P nasal drops 1drop in each nostril 3 times a day for 3 days). If cough then need cough syrup or drops as per babys cough condition (wet or dry). Keep ur baby well hydrated in cough cold fever episode Maintain hygiene, hand wash properly, Keep ur baby away from other infected persons, continue to give all food items as before, continue breast feed as well till 1.5 months of age. It will help for fast recovery. If decreased oral intake, decreased urine output, breathing difficulty, Then need consultation with nearest pediatrician.

s madaanMom of a 10 yr 3 m old girl7 years agoA. any medication doors should be given as per doctor's prescription you need to just check with the doctor for the same if you doctor suggested you and you forgot you can also check with the package instruction and go as per the weight of the baby
