ExpertRamya RamachandranNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear ma’am, how many times does he pass urine in 24 hours? Is he active when awake and seems to be happy? If yes then don’t worry: babies do go through growth spurt during which they might want to feed frequently but this temporary and hence don’t doubt your supply if urine count is good and weight gain is appropriate
ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. dear feeding pattern varies from baby to baby.
there is no set pattern off frequency and duration of feeding
so baby should be fed on demand. some baby feed frequently that does not mean milk supply is insufficient.
baby is passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, is alert and active and gaining at least 500 grams per month then the milk supply is sufficient.
Check for good latch, correct position while feeding
