It is said to be like 7 to 8 feedings per day and about 3 ounces of milk per feeding. dmFifferent babies take different amount of milk but the research tells that exclusively breastfed babies take in an average of 25 oz that is 750ml per day between the age of 1 month to 6 months.

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children7 years agoA. Feed the baby on demand babies don't keep themselves hungry will demand if hungry generally a gap of 2 to 3 hrs is fine. About 120 - 150 ml at a gap of 2 to 3 hrs is ok. Feed the baby well on one side till empty so that the baby gets hind milk too and then switch to the other side
