A. urinary pattern in small children is totally different. they may pass more than 20 times per day urine also and sometimes they will pass urine again and again in only one hour.
the minimum requirement would be more than 7 times in 24 hours. if it is less give more breast feeding or milk and if it is more no need to worry if the child is not having any other complaindt.
there is no problem if the urine frequency is normal and the child is not passing urine at night

A. Newborn babies typically pass urine quite frequently, as their small bladders fill quickly. Here's a general guideline for how often newborns pass urine:
1. **First Few Days**: In the first few days after birth, a newborn may pass urine as often as 20 times per day or more. This frequent urination helps to eliminate excess fluid and waste from their tiny bodies.
2. **Subsequent Weeks**: As the newborn's bladder capacity increases and they begin to feed more efficiently, the frequency of urination usually decreases to around 6 to 8 times per day by the end of the first week.
3. **Monitoring Diaper Output**: It's important to monitor how often your newborn passes urine, especially during the first week after birth, to ensure they are adequately hydrated and getting enough milk. Wet diapers are a good indicator of adequate hydration.
### Signs of Concern
- **Fewer Wet Diapers**: If your newborn is consistently producing fewer wet diapers than expected, it may indicate dehydration or feeding issues. Consult with your pediatrician if you have concerns.
- **Changes in Urine Output**: Watch for changes in the color or consistency of your baby's urine, as this can sometimes indicate health issues such as dehydration or infection.
- **Monitoring Overall Well-being**: Alongside diaper output, monitor your baby's overall well-being, including feeding patterns, weight gain, and general behavior.
Each baby is unique, so the exact frequency of urination may vary slightly. If you have specific concerns about your newborn's urination patterns or overall health, always consult with your pediatrician for personalized advice and guidance.
