how many time a pneumococcal vaccination is given...is it one time or three time...to my baby I have given two time and tomorrow is third time....so please can anyone tell me...Please

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. 3 times pneumococcal vaccine is against certain bacteria called strep pneumoniae. it protects against pneumonia , meningitis and sepsis caused by these particular bacteria only. viral infections still can occur.

Dr.A.Safiyathus salihaMom of a 8 yr 4 m old boy7 years agoA. dear mom pneumococal vaccines are given 4 times.. one in 2 months and then 4 months and 6 months .. one booster dosage is given in between 12_15 months of age.. if ur baby is 8 months u shud have given it already
