A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . f there is no need to to go for fixed feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits . also if the weight gain of the child every month is normal then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding f

A. For a 20-day-old baby, feeding frequency depends on whether you're breastfeeding or bottle-feeding: Breastfeeding: - Newborn babies typically breastfeed every 2-3 hours, or 8-12 times in a 24-hour period. - Breastfed babies feed on demand, meaning you should feed them whenever they show signs of hunger, such as rooting, sucking on their hands, or crying. - It's essential to ensure your baby is latched properly during breastfeeding to promote efficient feeding and ensure they get enough milk. Bottle-Feeding: - If you're bottle-feeding your 20-day-old baby, they may consume around 2-3 ounces (60-90 milliliters) of formula per feeding, depending on their appetite and individual needs. - Feed your baby every 3-4 hours or as they show signs of hunger. - Make sure to burp your baby frequently during and after feedings to prevent gas and discomfort. Overall, it's important to respond to your baby's hunger cues and feed them whenever they show signs of hunger, regardless of the time elapsed since their last feeding. Additionally, newborn babies have small stomachs and need frequent feedings to ensure they get enough nourishment for healthy growth and development. If you have any concerns about your baby's feeding schedule or if they're not gaining weight adequately, consult with your pediatrician for personalized guidance and advice.
