You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunghier.
In older children a proper discipline is regquired so that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according to a proper time try to avoid too much of screen time with sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.

For at least a minimum of 8 to 9 hours your child should sleep in totality specially during the night time when we talk about it during the daytime if you’re not making your child sleep otherwise one hour in the days is also good enough and apart from school and playtime should be at least for two hours minimum
