Pooja BalakrishnanMom of a 6 yr 7 m old child6 years agoA. i am not a doc, but from what i have heard and practice, unused formula can stay good upto 4 hrs at room temp.but once baby has used it,den the formula gets bacteria from the baby's saliva which flows back in bottle. That is why the 1 hr rule. I always follow dis as it is not practical to make it everytyme specially when you are outside and my baby has no problem yet. You can google it.

ArshunMom of a 8 yr old boy7 years agoA. Not more than one hour. When u prepare it, try feeding your baby immediately. It's a good idea to keep water in flask (Boil water for 5 mins then cool it until it's right temperature for the baby) then keep the formula in an air tight container. whenever your baby cries, fill the water and level the scoop of formula into the bottle. Shake it for 20 seconds. Always sterilise the bottles and nipple. Wash and dry your hands b4 making formula. Always make fresh feed. Throw away anything after one hour.
