Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. sleep will be taken according to the need of the child so if the growth of the child is proper do not worry much about the sleeping pattern and sleep hours and it will obviously change from time to time and then stabilize.
if overall the child is play full and is well responding then do not worry about the hours of sleep and they will not have any problem.
(please note if sleep is inadequate then growth will not be proper so if growth is proper then no need to worry about sleep)
sleeping hours may vary from 10 hours to 18 hours also
NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. babies up to 3 months old should sleep 14–17 hours in a 24-hour period. This includes 3–5 naps that can last 30 minutes to 2 hours, and 7–10 hours of awake time. While some babies may start sleeping through the night at this age, it's normal for them to wake up frequently and it's unusual for them to sleep all night every night.
tips to help your baby sleep:
Create a bedtime routine: A reliable pattern to their day, including predictable feeding and nap times, can help babies feel comfortable and signal that sleep is approaching.
