how long does colic stays in infants

1 Answer
Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years ago
A. 3 to 4 months Max if the child is having colic pain the child will cry excessively along with bending of the back in arch position like a bow. there is also distension of the abdomen due to gas. you will also observe that the child has decreased the intake of milk as well as is passing gas more frequently as flatus. whether the child is taking excessive milk due to the pain or due to hunger needs to be differentiated. usually the crying continues even after taking milk.
