#AskTheExpert how long does a viral fever last. my son is having fever since friday night. his temperature is between 99-101f. what should i do. is it normal is viral fever

A. hi. viral fever may last for 5 to 7 days as well. If he has other symptoms along with fever and if the fever is high grade after 3 days as well, then you can again consult your paediatrician and give antibiotics in that case.
