how long BCG vaccine mark will appear..after how many days that mark disappear..how that mark look like..pls tell me

PreranaMom of a 12 yr 5 m old girl8 years agoA. hello this mark stay long time .. as we grow this mark we can see on our arm .. but not on everyone... Immediately after the BCG vaccine there is a small swelling at the injection site which persists for 6-8 hours. After that the swelling disappears & the injection site looks normal. After 6-8 weeks a swelling reappears which looks like a mosquito bite.

ShivaniMom of a 8 yr 6 m old child8 years agoA. don't worry it takes time....Once healed, the sore may leave a small scar. In 1 to 6 weeks, a small red blister may appear where the injection was given. After 6 to 12 weeks, the blister may turn into a small, weeping sore.
