How good is breast milk massage to baby ? has anyone tried? what are the uses and benefits? how often should we do BM massage?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. hi no don't use breast milk for massaging Use oils like virgin coconut oil or almond oil or olive oil during winter Massaging builds up a bond with your baby. It’s good to tone and strengthen the muscles. Relaxes the body and helps baby sleep better . Massaging improves the blood circulation and decreases the discomfort by gases and congestion too. Massage baby when he is well rested and taken meal atleast 30 minutes prior up the massage time. Massage legs and hands in gently squeezing in downward motion. In palms and soles in a gentle circular motion. Rotate the wrist and ankle a few times in both clockwise and anti clockwise direction. On chest from inward to outward direction by your palms . For stomach it has to be more gentle . Make circular strokes around belly button . Make baby lie in his tummy and massage his back. Keep both palms on back and move back and forth from neck to buttocks. Massage shoulders and buttocks in gentle circular motion.

Hello and good evening massage with breast milk is not required You may massage the baby every day with Rogan badam shreen and fresh milk cream and leave it for half an hour and bathe the baby after that it should help the complexion of the baby after that try using sebamed products
