Q.

How can one introduce yogurt to a baby's diet? Doctors are suggesting no cow milk till the baby turns 1 year of age? Can yogurt/ curd be prepared from the formula milk?

A. hi, yes you can give curd to your babies after 7 month, but not cow milk. because cow milk is rich in protein which a small tummy of babies can't digest. but curd is prepared by the process of cluttering, which broke down the protein n make it easy to digest

A. Thanks Nikhita.. my baby is 7 months old.. I was thinking to start yoghurt with his khichdi..

A. Hello... Yes cows milk should not be given till baby turns one year... Till 6months even yoghurt should not be given.. You can give curds after baby turns 6-7months...you can prepare curds from cows milk that's not a problem... Only cows milk not to be given directly
