A. Thumb sucking or finger sucking is normal in kids as they feel pleasure in doing that. Few kids feel insecure do they suck thumb or when frightened or when going to bed. Have patience and try to wean him off this habit. Avoid scolding him. Praise him when he stop sucking for a while. Gradually reduce the intervals during day time.

A. Thumb sucking/putting fingers into mouth may be normal at this age
It may also be due to infection, teething, insecure feeling,
If possible give teether
Distract ur Baby whenever he or she will do this.
It will help.
Keep ur baby well hydrated
Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day

A. my baby passes gas during every feed. what is the reason behind it. is it normal or not

A. Hello ..your child is trying to explore his own body parts and hence sucks it's finger....it is also that it may do to soothe itself...not a problem...slowly you can distract your child when ever it tries to put it's fingers or fist
