how can i stop cough for my baby with home remedies

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very usefujil .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

U Can never lies the child with water because that is the only home remedy that you can follow as of now because your child is only six months of age as of now there is no other home remedy you just have to go ahead with medication so if you want just nebuliser child
