Vegetables: source of multi vitamins and minerals, steam vegetables and make a puree, steamed vegetable wedges can be given as a snack.
Porridge : Make porridge of single grain Cereals. Grains like rice, wheat, oats, barley, millets can be processed and powdered to make a porridge mix.
Meat Puree : Chicken provides protein and carbohydrates.
Egg : source of healthy fat and protein, only egg yolk should be given.
Cheese : rich in fat, protein and vitamins
Khichdi : made out of rice and moong Dal
Babies at this age should be given 3 solid meals along with atleast 2 sessions of breast feeding or formula feeding.
