How can i differentiate thrush infection and normal white tongue from milk of my new born

When you clean the tongue with a silicon tongue cleaner if it is milk are getting accumulated it is going to get clean as a child will not feel any pain but if it is a thrush you will see more redness than white and it will be painful and irritable for the child
