Q.

Hot pack or cold pack for a injected area.. Pls suggest me..

A. Hello..do sponging with ice Cold fomentation is adviced after vaccination. Wrap ice with cotton cloth and rub over injection site two to three times daily. Don’t do too much. Child will get cold

A. No need to worry for pain, fever, swelling after vaccination. Its common after vaccination If baby is cranck, exessive cry, swelling and fever then Give paracetmol drops to baby for 1-2 days Fever, pain will decreases in next 1 -2 days Don't apply anything over vaccination site It cause decrease in the efficiency of given vaccine Cont. to give feed as per demand Keep ur baby well hydrated Keep a watch on urine output Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day Swelling will take it's own time to disappear.

A. Icepack or cold pack is to be applied over the vaccinated area hot compress is not required and please do not go for it it might affect in adverse way

A. apply ice cube cold pack on injected area.. Ice packs can help minimize swelling around the injury, reduce bleeding into the tissues, and reduce muscle spasm and pain
