Q.
hlo... my 22 month baby is still not speaking.she will make some sounds n shout also... but not speaking yet. what should I do ?? plz guide me ...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make thge child comfortable and do more interaction with the cyhild so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speetch does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
