Q.
Hlo mam my son is 2 year 5 months old.He speaks only maa paa daa and few words.But he understand every thing ,can't speak.Am worried .What can I do?? plz give suggestion.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. the child will be able to say meaningful words by 15 months to 18 months of age and by 2 years of age the child will be able to say 2 or 3 words with meaning in a sentence.
sometimes the child may not be able to talk but the child would be able to understand and follow the commands and orders given by the parents.
if you feel that dthe child is having some delay it is advisable to meet the pediatrician who will decide if the child requires any therapy or not in the form of speech therapy as well as other modes of therapy for development in social and language milestone.

You can consult a speech therapist once to figure out if there is a little bit of delay in to the speech of join I do not think there’s a problem Dekhte Chai speaking certain words it is just that if you giving any screen time today Chalu to completely stop giving that and try to interact more and more to child on a personal 121 level
