This is very important for building the immunity also.
Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal anjd other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutribjtional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.
Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite.
Diet counselling is also very important .
