Sandeep thakurGuardian of a 2 yr 6 m old girl7 months agoA. If your 2-year-old has a fever of 103°F and you've given Mefenamic Acid Suspension IP (Meta 100), closely monitor the temperature and ensure the correct dose based on your child’s weight (usually around 6–7.5 mg/kg every 8 hours, max 3 times/day). Keep your child well-hydrated, dress them lightly, and avoid combining medications without a doctor's advice. While mefenamic acid can reduce fever, paracetamol or ibuprofen is typically preferred for toddlers due to a better safety profile. If the fever persists beyond 24 hours, or if your child shows signs of lethargy, dehydration, poor feeding, rash, or any unusual behavior, consult a pediatrician immediately.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 11 m old boy7 months agoA. Hello my dear parent! Please avoid self medication. Without proper physical examination, it is not possible to understand the condition. Get your child personally checked by the paediatrician and seek medical guidance in this matter. Keep Babyhug medicine spoon handy
