hiii my daughter recently had hfmd and now she is recovered. I have sent her back to school. are there any chances that the infection can affect again if any other child in school is having it please throw light on this.

A. thank you sir. but how to get a solution to this. I have kept her away from school and other kids for a week. now wat precaution can be taken to avoid getting affected again.

A. yes this disease can effect the child again and again hand and foot and mouth disease is a self limiting viral infection. commonly seen is viral red eruptions on the skin mainly on the joints of the body and on the bums and around the mouth and there are ulcers in the oral cavity. only symptoms treatment is given for fever as well as for pain and itching and oral ulcers and the disease usually resolves maximum by 1 to 1 and half weeks. meet your doctor for mxore information regarding this disease. the child should stay away from other children for at least one week because it is a contagious disease.
