Hiii Doctor New born baby should give Vitamin D syrup compulsory or not?

It’s mandatory to be given for initial one year after that you can stop giving vitamin D and if you have to continue your Dr is going to give you a confirmation on that but as of now you have to give it for initial one year it is very important can you please do not skip on that
