Q.
hii, my son is 4.5 month old, from last 2 weeks he poops lkie watery type, so i gave him zinc and probiotic and ofloxacin( oxin ms) yesterday, after giving these medicines watery is increased as compared to earlier, thats why im asking that, can i give only zinc and peobiotic( waylact dry syrup) by stopping ofloxacin.. pls suggest me

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic so you should consult your paediatrician before stopping it and yes zinc can be continued and prebiotic and maintain good hygiene to avoid rashes take care and stay safe

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning Some babies don't poo even upto 10 days. If baby is active and healthy and if taking feeds well then no issues. If baby doesn't po for more than a week or ten days then you should see your doctor for further analysis. For any medication you should consult your doctor.
