Q.
Hii, my daughter is 3.1 year old but still she poo in her underwear. She knows she feels poo but when we tell her to go to the washroom either indian or western, she deny and not poo as that much time when we allow her to do in underwear which may 5 days or more. For pee she used bathroom but to deny to poo in the bathroom. please guide me how i guide her for the same

Author of questionMom of 2 children4 years agoA. i did the same but she denied and not comfy thier. when she feels poo, she informs but when we tell her to go the bathroom she denied to poo even she not poo for 6 day till when i allow her to poo in her underwear

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. potty training can be started at the age of one and half year to 2 yrs age.for this you need to develop a conditioned reflex in the child by fixing a particular time regularly in which the child should be taken to the washroom and seated over the potty seat .do not push thech child instead make it a playful activity for not to make the child repulsive about it.slowly the child will learn to indicate before that time. you can counsel the child regarding the indications and gestures to be told for urination and for toilet slowly the baby will adapt it.
