Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. after recurring nausea/ vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis it is important to give easily digestible food like rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and give only very small amount of milk otherwise it can cause acidity and give seasonal fruits as well as juices from the fruits and this will help in improving the immunity. after 3 to 4 days when the child is able to digest food than you can go for slightly heavier diet. try to give more fluids and water to maintain urine output of at least 6 to 7 times per day d
