Q.

hii my baby is 3+ month n fully depend on formula there is no weight gain though should I gve her solids like apple or banana puree like.?

A. don't give, it has no advantage to add solids fir weight gain at this age, as your babys digestive system is not going to digest it.. it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

A. Hey fellow parent, even my child is taking formula since day 1, but luckily he is growing according to the age. incase your child doesn't show any weight gain or growth then ask your doctor to switch the formula. I'm using Nestle Nan pro for my child. According to WHO and doctors, one can start solids from 4th month but their are certain rules like child should have gained double the birth weight. Is feeling not full after feed. And even then you can only start with fruit/vegetable puree that too once a day(preferably between 12-3pm) or you can follow cluster feeding and check if you're adding correct amount of formula powder to the water every formula milk has a different measurement

A. if somehw our elders by mistakely given apple puree for misconception thinking baby will gain weight then will it harm baby's health? plz help
