Hii my baby got fever and i have given gemic DS syrup 5 ml 2 times but I'm worried of now last 2 months back doctor gave same syrup gemic DS and 1 month ago gave same syrup but both syrup smell and taste is not same the smell is different 2 months back syrup is not having much bitter and smell but last month syrup is having bitter and change of smell is different i have givrn last month syrup and her fever level is low and no other side effects but y the taste and smell is different and both syrup have expiry and manufacture date is different and both syrup are not expired but I'm worried because the syrup what i gave is very bitter and more smell please help me doctor but baby is good now she is not having any problem please help me😔

Fever  is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can bevd again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating.
and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
