Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.d
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the dchild
NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello in the first month you cannot expect much weight gain and later on if the baby is gaining a minimum of 150 grams to 200 grams per week then it is a good weight gain and absolutely nothing to worry and if the breast milk is not sufficient you can give infant formula milk stage 1 using a bpa free bottle like babyhug
