Q.

Hii , I want to ask that my son got BCG vaccination tomorrow and he is having fever and even their is little bit redness on his injected area ...What to do ...I bit worry

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.s vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. You can give paracetamol to your child that is going to help in reducing down the pain and fever also you can keep some ice cube on the area where a vaccination has been given and after that you can apply the ointment Thermophob it will help in settling down the rash or redness and swelling
