Q.
Hii doctor..my baby is 1year old now..am giving her both formula n breastmilk..I thought my breastmilk will not be sufficient to her so started giving fm..problem is when she is ready to sleep am giving fm and trying to make her sleep but she is demanding of breastmilk while sleeping..is it safe to give..?

Milk is very important for babies specially in the initial days of life breast milk is very important and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . formula milk should be given only as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 . after one year cows milk should be started anjhd any kind of health drink powder in milk should be used only after the completion of two years of age .

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. hello it is just that baby is used to taking the bm while sleeping so it is demanding and if you want to give bm then you may give not a problem and slowly change this habit and try making your child sleep in a different way which could be helpful
