Hii Doctor... My 4 years kid has ASD hole in the heart ,it is 16mm size ,Is it closed hole normally or compulsory surgery

ExpertDr. Arva BhavnagarwalaPaediatrician6 years agoA. Hi. If the ASD is causing any symptoms in him, like repeated cough cold and getting tired easily, then it may need surgery to close it. Otherwise, you can only wait and watch.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old boy6 years agoA. hello in most cases the hole may get closed on its own which just medication as baby grows.. in some cases baby undergo surgery after certain age you should go as per your doctors advise we can guide you better on examination
