hii doctor, I have 5 months old baby boy, whose head is very hot , but he is normal, is there any problem

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it is 9o for baby. Fever is when the temperature is more then 99 degree . Paracetamol can be given for the fever every 6 hourly of fever is reoccurring frequently. Fever may be due to any viral infection so mostly will subside in 3 days other wise consult a doctor near by.

The body temperature of a child is generally warmer than ours so if you check it with thermometer first and you see it is a below 99° fahrenheit then it is not fever so like you are saying that it is hot but it is not fever so that’s normal because kids normally tend to have a higher body temperature.Write Your Answer Here
